Two checks, different jobs.
Availability monitors validate the HTTPS connection whenever they run. Certificate watch adds an independent daily TLS check for each verified hostname you enable. It records the certificate expiry and flags connection or validation errors in your workspace.
Reminders before the deadline.
Certificate watch sends expiry emails at 30, 14, 7 and 1 day to enabled, verified email channels. If a certificate is first detected five days before expiry, its first reminder uses the seven-day threshold. Checks run through the existing scheduled cron. Enable this feature in each website’s organisation settings.
Reminders require a recently validated certificate. TLS validation failures appear as warnings in Certificate watch. Keep your hosting provider’s renewal notifications enabled too.
Included in every plan.
Certificate watch is included for the websites covered by your plan. Paused websites and inactive workspaces are not checked. Verify each exact hostname before enabling checks.
