Monitor the pages that matter individually.
A working homepage does not prove that the page linked from a campaign still exists. Create a check for each critical URL and set the expected response. Review redirects before choosing your target so the monitor checks the intended destination.
FlowUptime records the HTTP result and check duration. A failed response or connection can produce evidence for your investigation. Scheduled checks use the interval allowed by your plan.
Know how incident confirmation works.
By default, a first scheduled failure is pending confirmation. A second consecutive scheduled failure opens an incident. A later successful check closes it. This means alerts are not a promise of instant detection at the moment a visitor encounters a failure.
Starter starts at 15-minute intervals. Pro and Agency start at 5-minute intervals. Worker availability and notification delivery also affect when an alert reaches you.
Go one step beyond the HTTP status.
A 200 response can contain a maintenance message or an incomplete page. Add a content check for a phrase customers depend on, such as a contact instruction. Use a supported form monitor when you need to check the confirmation after submission.
For HTTPS URLs, the check validates the secure connection. Read what SSL monitoring covers before relying on it for certificate management.
